Energy Usage 2011
Quite suprisingly we used a lot less energy in our house in 2011 than we did in 2010 (see last years 10:10 results)
However our 2011 fuel bill was still circa 20% higher than 2010 !

Ok, so not the result it was meant to be which was to reduce Home energy usage by 10% in 2010, but I think an overall 2.1% isn't a failure. Most of the investment in new windows / doors and an almost complete switch to energy saving light bulbs was made in 2009, and whilst December's coldest winter on record didnt help, it would probably have been higher if that hadnt been the case.
From a cost point of view, even with this saving our 2010 Gas/Elec Bill was 16% higher than 2009, so again without that saving in usage, that could have been much higher.
Not sure can make much impact on the usage in 2011, but the fridge is definitely top of the list being 14 years old this year :-)
